Text Message Privacy

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

We collect your mobile number and your text message consent only to send you the messages you agreed to receive (appointment and inspection scheduling, insurance adjuster meeting confirmations, estimate updates, installation scheduling, project status, and occasional service-related offers). This applies to every other section of this policy: no other statement here overrides it. Service providers that deliver our messages on our behalf may use your number only to deliver those messages. You can stop messages at any time by replying STOP, and you can ask us to delete your number by contacting us at (703) 453-2279 or inquiries@gcnat.com.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

7. SMS / Text Messaging Program

When you give your phone number to General Contractors National (GCNAT) and consent to texts in one of our documented ways, you may receive text messages from us about your project (service messages) and/or occasional service-related offers (marketing). The two programs are separate and you may opt in to either, both, or neither. Service (transactional) texts: (a) by signing our standalone SMS Consent Form at an inspection or meeting and initialing the service box, (b) by giving verbal consent on a recorded call, or (c) on our website, by checking the service checkbox on our online SMS opt-in form. Marketing (offer) texts: verbal consent covers service (transactional) texts only and does not cover marketing or offer texts; marketing texts require the signed SMS Consent Form with the marketing box initialed, or the marketing checkbox on our online SMS opt-in form. Message and data rates may apply. Service message frequency varies based on the active stage of your project, typically 1 to 5 messages per week. Marketing messages are sent no more than 4 per month.

8. Phone calls, AI assistants and call recording

Phone calls with General Contractors National may be handled by AI-powered virtual assistants and AI agents, which may use an AI-generated, artificial or prerecorded voice. An AI assistant will identify itself as an AI assistant, and you can ask to speak with a person at any time. This section is separate from our text messaging program (section 7) and is not required for it. Agreeing to receive text messages is not consent to phone calls, call recording or an AI voice, and agreeing to a phone call is not consent to text messages.

Calls may be recorded and monitored for quality, training and compliance, and by taking part in a call you agree to that recording. When a call or text conversation involves an AI assistant, we may record and keep the call audio, transcripts, and summaries of the conversation. We use them to respond to your request, manage your project, and for quality, training and compliance. Call recordings, transcripts, summaries and your mobile number are not sold, and they are not shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. Service providers that record, transcribe or deliver our calls and messages on our behalf may process them only to perform those services for us.

Agreeing to AI-assisted or recorded calls is not a condition of purchase, and you can withdraw it at any time by telling us or by contacting support at (703) 453-2279 or inquiries@gcnat.com.
